about joining a game

guys is it normal on pc version for when u join a match the ping goes like 999 for a while and stuff, like a major connections lag then it goes all back to normal, because that what happens to me i search for a match get into one about to choose my class everything lags in connection for like 1 min then the ping goes to normal?

Yeah...especially if the host doesn't have that great of a connection.

Speedtest.net
and
Pingtest.net

and the place where you live could also be a factor in this situation. If you live far away from the host, your ping is higher then normal..

Like matjuh123 said run a speedtest because it may depend on your isp.
