[TUT] Change the default icon in Visual Studios :)

Tired of seeing the same, old, boring, default icon? Well then this tutorial is for you.

Simple Instructions
1. Navigate to: (paths may be different)

Win7-
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0
XP-C:\Documents and Settings\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0

2. Scroll down to find the icon file.


3. Make a backup of

VSProjectApplication.ico

Then replace it with your icon


Now it should of changed.

Here's a better idea:

Go to "Project -> Project Properties" while still on your current project. Click the downdrop arrow on "Default Icon" and change it to whatever you want. Duh.

His method will show the new icon every time you'll create a new app.
The method we know changes for the current project only.

But why use a default icon for every single app? Guess it's nice, didn't realise initially that it was for all new projects not just the current one, didn't read the directory closely enough.
