[SOLVED]error on steam page

Everytime i open up the front page up..i always get this eroor "failed to load page-unkown error-118"
can somebody help?

steam pages will go down periodically if you check with your friends and see if they have the same problem then the problem is on steams side. trial and error

I'm with you He said to restart you never said you had tried to restart it all you said was you got n error we don't know anything unless you tell us, BTW I'm pretty sure He's more well know than you and have you ever said "Noob" to yourself in real life it sounds ridiculous. hmm i dont know i don't have the problem
i think its just an internet problem,
maybe reset your modem/router ?
or maybe some steam servers are down?

but since you've re-installed steam, then most likely it's a problem with Steam not you or anything you did.
I advise waiting it out.
