You can get a ban but apparently you can unban yourself, another thing is that there is no need to unlock the console since, you can use mods in games, but you need to be host i order to take advantage/host fun mod lobbies for mods..

You can use Steam loader, which unlocks the console and disables VAC. Not sure if it is detected yet, but that's what I do. Originally Posted by Crainer1422
