I don't like the new interfaces, but the new one doesn't make me lag anymore.
The old one made me lag.

Fucking Hate the New one, it lags to shit, although the Fun part is... Fraps doesnt lag me with the new one as much as it did when I manaully did it.

If you really lag from UI that means you definitly need a new pc. The New UI is eye candy to me. The old one was boxy and choppy. This one looks more organized. The only thing I don't like is the new headshot emblem. The rest is beautiful. If you really lag from it I guess they should of imported a UI transfer feature so you could switch between UI's.
