Haha this guys make it seem like so hard when im 100% sure atleast 75% of coders from mpgh cant say they know C++ in a 100% because you allways keep learning new things and to start off you pretty much need basic knowledge of C++ + theres sources all over wich make the learning much eaasier and to make a CA hack with a public source like most of you guys do Gellins or others lol you pretty much you just need to know a couple of words like you say learning spanish or german because pretty much all the job is done. so dont bring this guy hopes down telling him it will take him atleast 2 years to make a hack Ha-Ha

C++ is the main source to make a hack
d3d will be pretty much to have a menu on your hack or Texture chams or a custom crosshair e.t.c So go for C++

Well lets see you don't need to know ASM, because I bet you not any of the reliable coders here even know it. The only thing your really going to use ASM for is console commands, and there is no need to code your own ASM function to push them considering there is already one (even though I did :]). You don't really need to know C++ you just need to know a few things, and Common sense.

*if statements
*API
*Getasynckeystate
*print text [D3D]
*Usage of VTables
*Unpacking Cshell
*Signature Scanning
*a couple others

if you spend some time googling the top list it will get you started, and you might not even have to learn C++. However knowing Full C++ comes in handy cause you never know what function your going to want to use next!

His goal is not to be a programmer, but to release hacks. I pretty much listed a basic list that you will need to know to code a hack.
