Well take about a year or so to learn C++, then ASM, then look at some old bases, at that point you will know what to do.

My god you aren't very smart. It DOES take that long to learn C++ if its your first object oriented programming language. I suggest taking a computer science course at your school if they offer it. And ASM stands for assembly.

And btw you can do a lot more with D3D than just make simple crosshairs.

Come on guys be honest and dont hate on this guy we all know C++ to learn the basics if your a smart guy you can learn enought in 1 week to understand the lenguage and all of it basics and you can get to a medium level within one month ofcourse everyhting depends on the person and to make hacks you dont really need to be an expert or college graduated at C++ and it goes the same for everyother lenguage + now the internet contents alot of stuff that makes learning way eaasier and after you learn C++ you could start d3d and asembly/reverse enginering
