[SOLVED]Unbanning from alteriwnet does it work anymore?

Well, I recently got banned from alteriwnet and was looking for a way to unban I have tried getting a new mac address but I get the iw_22 error so I was wondering if anything works anymore, I have heard about changing your OS but I dont want to go through the trouble of doing that just to play Modern Warfare 2. Yes I have heard about MPGHnet and I will be moving to that probably on its release but I would also like to play this in the meantine. I have also been advised from someone to just spam the alteriw.net forums XD I will try that if all else fails but thanks for the help!

A iw_22 error is not from changing your MAC address. It's from having missing DLC files which you can find on the AlterIW website on the download page or here on Mel's thread:

If the game does sucessfully start but still comes up with a You have been banned from Modern Warfare 2 message then the only option is to do what B4M said.
