Previous VAC Bans: Confirmed
If you have been banned from Modern Warfare 2, you will still be able to play Black Ops on the same steam account. The VAC ban does only affect Modern Warfare 2, not Black Ops.

VAC bans by game engine.
Black Ops uses a reworked world at war engine, which is completely different to the MW2 engine. So yes, a MW2 ban doesn't affect BO

lol? Those were in MW2 because of VAC. But BO will be better as server admins will kick the cheaters.

but this time everything is simply solved by having admin function so u can easily kick the cheating bastard of your server

u got owned

only way that they "hack" your account is that u have a stupid easy-find password like abc (lol)

or u got scammed, but still then its your own fault that u gave ur username and password
