the HST/GST is 13% in ontario, apparently /

and in novia scotia its like 8%.

HST is a combination of GST and PST i think. not too sure. i hate canadian politics.

the GST was brought in in the early 90's and they said it would be temporary and 20 years later nothing.

I hate sales tax.
My state has no sales tax, so I am used to having 8 bucks to buy something that is 8 bucks. Pretty simple right.

I hate going somewhere and the price is like 10 bucks, so I pull out a 10 and the guy tells me its 60 cents more. That pisses me off for some reason.

I like when places work out the price so the product is an even number.
5.50 for a small pizza + food tax = 6.00
