Today is the Ninth Anniversary of the September 11th Terrorist Attacks, around 8:45 am on September 11th 2001 Flight 11 headed from San Francisco to Los Angeles crashed into the North tower of the world trade center, about 20 minutes later at 9:03 am Flight 175 headed from Boston, Massachusetts to Los Angeles Crashed into the South tower of the World trade center.

At 9:37 am Flight 77 Crashed into the Pentagon.

and at 10:03 am Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after the passengers on board engaged in a fight with the hijackers. Its ultimate target was thought to be either the Capitol (the meeting place of the United States Congress) or the White House. Flight 93 was the only aircraft that did not reach its Target.
