You stupid little cheaters. Do you really think you can unban yourself by formating/recovering windows and changing mac address?

The guys from alteriwnet check if someone spoof the mac address and than you get a nice error... And formatting or recovering windows wont change the mac address or anything else related to the game.

Assign the IP address
To set a static IP address:
Open Windows Start menu.
Open Control Panel.
Classic view: Open Network Connections
Category view: Select Network and Internet Connections, and then Network Connections.
Double-click on your active LAN or Internet connection.
Click Properties.
This opens the Local Area Connections Properties window.
In the General tab, highlight the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) item, and click Properties.
This opens the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.
In the General tab, click Use the following IP address, and enter:
IP address. The static IP address you want to assign to this computer.
Subnet mask. Subnet mask used by your router.
Default gateway. IP address of your router's default gateway.
In Use the following DNS server addresses, enter all the IP addressses for the DNS servers your router uses.
Click OK.
Then:
Click OK to close each window.
Restart your computer.
Then, check your IP address again, to make sure that the changes were applied.

when i do that, my connection goes of. and i don't know how to get the DNS (in ms-dos, dosen't appear)

i just did it and it unbanned me again u can join me if u like, btw 9th time i unbanned myself

I see it now, a modem... Ok, maybe this works with this cable technology. But if you using a network adapter, this will never work. What's your modem?

Recovering or formating windows is still useless, or reinstalling the game.

lol @ u network adapter is located in ur pc, it isnt the same a modem, stfu about this never working cause its even verified by me and a minion here so no noob comments PLS..

As you didnt understand what i meant and as you dont understand, that your method will not work for everyone (actually only for a minority with adequate modems) and recovering windows is still pretty stupid...

And how can you verify it if you even dont know what recovering causes? You are a really stupid kid...

A cable modem is an external device where you can just sometimes "change" the mac address for example to get a new ip (actually it is still spoofing), this method will neither work with every modem nor with normal network adapters.

mac changer changes the network adapters mac in the registery "kid".
and its verified cause people did it and it worked.
damn ur really stupid stop makin a fool outta yaself.

Hi guys i restored to the point were i wasn't banned and then i changed mac ip and downloaded the mc rip with the dlc and other stuff from the alter iw homepage but i'm still banned what do i wrong?

This method only works on XP, as apparently some oversight caused pre-6.0 systems to use fallback user IDs that are stored in the user profile. This'll be fixed in 1.3.37a+ though, along with an overhaul of the 'banning' methods -- with some luck, you might all be unbanned.
