i cant start the game

when i double click on cs.exe it says:

canot find entrypoint of procedure SetCVarIF in DDL-File vstdlib.dll

then i click ok, and i get launcher error:

Failed to load te launcher DLL:

Cannot find the given procedure....



help please!

Which version of the patch are you using?

If v17 doesn't work, search for v18 of the patch.

If you get "Steam validation rejected", re-install the patch. I said that in my first post, please read before bitching.

I keep getting that message even after reinstalling the v17 patch, any ideas of what i can do?
EDIT: I just installed the v18 patch and it still wont work, any ideas?
