iw_22.iwd error?

This is probably one of the most common questions asked... How do I fix the iw_22.iwd error? Here's my situation.

First off, I got banned, so I used the Mac Changer and changed my Mac Address. Then I restarted, my XUID changed so I thought that was cool.

I started alterIWnet again, and it had an error about the iw_22.iwd file is incorrect. I searched the alterIWnet forums for a fix and it said I had to re-install my network card drivers. When I do that, my XUID is changed back to the original one and I'm still banned.

Does anybody know a way to fix this problem so my XUID doesn't change?

Thanks, but I've already done the second option and I still get the iw_22.iwd error.

u probaly installed a skin/mod or any modding stuff in ure iw_22
if u dont know what it is, reinstall cod

I already re-installed MW2, and I still get this error.

i have the same thing but i think ill format my windows but i dont knw how 2 restore the thing

Its easy to reformate your PC. Just take your OS CD and put it in the drive, boot the CD before the Windows. Then follow the guide, enter license key etc and you formatet the HDD.

lol i knw how 2 format
but about the restore thing after i format i need 2 restore so i dont get benned again thats all

Reinstall your network adapters. I personally think reformatting should only be a last resort, but that's the first thing most of you turn to.

Doesn't work for me, my XUID goes back to the original if I do that.
