There is a high chance for there to be a AlterOps 1st Cuz it sounds sexy and second because it is kind of like MW2.Why? Well on MW2 there was a master server which controlled every single lobby. AlterIW just coppied that and made it free to use.According to what I have read the principle remains the same. There is a single master server which controls all the PC hosted servers ( which are the ones you play on). And now the only difference is that the PC servers have to be rented. And yet again AlterIW will simply change the server adress to theirs and the job is done.
TO ALL WHO ARE GOING TO START FLAMING THIS POST I HAVE TO SAY THAT WHAT I SAID IS ONLY AN ASSUMPTION AND IS NOT CONFIRMED BY ANYONE.

It is dumb, how are we supposed to know if anyone will be able to crack it or not? I don't yet know any game protection stuff that hasn't been cracked... even the shitty DRM was cracked, thought it took some time.

No, it's not that simple. Unless CoD:BO ships with the server files, it won't be that easy. And the master server won't "control" the servers, it's gonna be like the CoD4 master server.
