How can nexon tell about rez modding?

ATM, they can't really do anything. Delete CAV.exe (or just move it) as well as the uploader file to make sure they're not ssing/videoing your game.

No, they just create new rez files when releasing something new like guns etc. Rez modding is when you change the original rez files. So if they're creating the originals, how can they be modifying them?

I know what you mean, don't worry. They'd have to pay a shitload to end their contracts with said companies who provide them with the Lithtec/Nexon convert files. It wouldn't be worth it, because they wouldn't make up the money they had to pay in new revenue... They won't patch rez mods. If they do, they royally fuck themselves up the ass.

and they could tell if they were smart without scanning our pc's

when the rez file is decompiled by engine.exe, it must be scanned in some way, within that decompiler they could add a line of code that would check the MD5 Hash code of the actually regular rez file and if its different (which it should be after the new ltb inject or dtx or something,) it would disconnect you
