[SOLVED] Downloaded MW2

Hi people.

I have a question.
I torrented Call of duty MW2 but still only the campaign mode works.
If I want to play online it say:
Steam must be running online to play multiplayer (Or something else)
I wanted to use the No steam patch but it is full of virusses and before thanx that shit my pc crashed.
So have someone a non steam patch WITHOUT virusses?
Or something else to fix this?

AlterIWnet is the only way your going to play online. Its what you get for torrenting games. Look at some of the video tutorials, or read a couple posted here.
