if u want to play mw2, make new acc and activate key on that. You will still be able to get black ops on the mw2 banned acc, as the ban is only for mw2, and black ops is dedi servers, so players will ban u. Best thing is just buy mw2 and black ops on a new acc, so it doesnt show some vac bans on ur profile page

Just to make this more official, yes this has been detected. Must have a external scan running or something, similar to other anti-cheats.

I got banned i only use this box hack *uck this hack....

its still your own fault, no matter what the chance of not being detected is, you take the risk every time you start it up.

Nope as far as I'm aware VAC2 will be handling Black Ops. It seems they've put in a silent upgrade in preperation for Black Ops.

Does anyone know how they detected external hacks? Checking RPM to spec. addresses, by signature (launcher.exe?), or checking what is drawn to the aero overlays are the only ways I could guess at. It looks like the XP based external hacks got caught as well.

Did anyone who got banned use only the source version of this external?

it wasn't off the file name as i changed that but unsure on the others, perhaps they can tell what is scanning the memory now?
