[SOLVED] Would I Get Unbanned If...

I read some posts on MPGH and other websites and people are saying the only way to get unbanned these days is just to buy a new LAN Card , i checked on Ebay and found some cheap ones , i will not give outside link but its an USB Lan Card , just want to ask if i buy it , will i get unbanned ? /

It depends, if you play on AlterIW then yes, because buying a new Ethernet card will change your MAC address. Otherwise if you're on Steam then no, the game is glued to your SteamID and is untransferable, you may need a new copy.

Ok, I'm playing on AlterIW, I will buy the card today in about 2hours. Please don't close this, when I will recieve the card and test it I will reply here confirming if it worked or not so other people can know. Thanks

Until MPGHNet will come come out, medal of honor will come out so that means i will be playing medal of honor until black ops comes out which i pre-ordered already so there is no point for me waiting for MPGHNet .

The USB Lan Card is only £5 so i will have fun on AlterIW until 15th of October when MOH will come out . I should receive the card today or tomorrow and i will say if it works .

If re-installing Windows didn't help, you probably received some uber ban
Well then just change that card, re-install the game and try again.

Edit:
Unban yourself without a restore/recovery point
1. Format your Windows
2. Put your new card thing :3
3. Install game >>> Play <<<

Atleast i think that should work.

Atleast i think that should work.

So when i receive the card i reinstall windows then plug-in the card and only then download the game ? Or can i try this, i receive the card plug it in and reinstall the game by downloading DLC Repo and Patch 3 again ?
