As to why you can't see the profile, I don't know.

That is one of those crossed out names. If I remember correctly, it is what happens when someone registers with the age under 13. It goes away after a little while.

Because when you register, it asks your date of birth. If you're under age.. people normally lie, but some kids are stupid, and put their real birth date, and the system puts them into that user-group.
