how to get rid of lag?

hey my game usually runs at about 190-240 fps but the last couple days it been jumpin round from 20-110 and making it real hard to play any1 got some helpful tips on how to reduce my lag?

k the gamebooster helped a lil w/ the lag but came bak every cuple min and made my fps shoot down to 20-30 then i tried the system restore and it kept saying that it culdnt restore it...:<

Try removing your Guns_T_PV.rez files in your game folder

If on windows, ctrl + alt + delete, open task manager and close some programs that you don't need running like iTunes. Also set Engine.exe priority to realtime or high

its cuz it lags due to over heating of the computer :P i searched it on google

your internet might be nearly full or you could maybe use game booster or take some texture file out
