Free Windows 7

My business teacher had told me, that since Windows 7 came out, all Windows Vista users are entitled to a Free Upgrade of Windows 7, because of how terribly it performs and how slow it is. Can anyone confirm this and tell me how? Cause' I would love to do this.

I used torrent went from 32bit home premium to 64bit ultimate free and 3 weeks after i had the genuie software problem but i used Remove WAT and it worked like new ^^.
