    the fire_ has to do with rez files i think. waht you found is what communicates with the rez and ltb files since in the coding of the animation there is a fire_0 fire and fire_1 and reload and such

    i bet if you nopped the fire_ it would no longer fire a gun

    alt_fire_

    are strings used in the attack animations of weapons. if you delete them your weapons don't fire.

    reload is an animation string too. It's obviously for reload. and Recoil. (but not alot on recoil)

    Not likely it won't fire, probably just won't animate it.

    You will still fire, just your gun won't animate.

    NOP just makes the reading go on or return to where it originated from. It basicly does nothing so why you NOP the Recoil and Superbullet adresses is becouse you make the recoil do nothing and the colition with the bullet gets removed
