    Help with grammar

    like this:
    “I was panic-stricken.”

    or this:
    “I was panic-stricken".

if it's a quote of somebody saying something, the period is inside the quotations for proper grammar.

it varies from quotes, these are examples:

"the best thing about life is money" - some random fucker (stating a quote without dialog)

    speaking in a story
    "and then he rode off."

*I, nor anybody else on mpgh, cares about if you do not care.

    Agreed.
Full stops and commas always before the quotations marks.

It would be the second one, When quoting, the punctuation will always go inside Quotes.
    so it's “I was panic-stricken".
