Just kidding. Ya my grandma preordered the hardened edition from amazon for me. Supposedly you also get a poster and a holigraphic type thing

When I checked gamestop it only said:
COD: Black Ops (X360)
COD: Black Ops Hardened Edition (X360)
COD: Black Ops Prestige Edition (X360)
Same those for PS 3, but only the normal one for PC.
So the PC doesn't has the option of Hardened or Prestige edition? I'm not considering buying it anyway, but when PC doesn't has special editions, we could have more gore which they removed because of the consoles. /

No I think the WaW maps aren't available on other versions. If you look at the content for Hardened it says the old WaW maps re-engineered for the new engine. So I presume that the new maps will be available for all releases. And knowing Activision we will probs get more maps through DLC, much to my dismay.

It's up to Activision. If Activision want's more money they'll make us pay. Treyarch doesn't have much say in the methods of distribution so let's hope that Activition listens to the community.

MW2 has proven that charging for DLC does NOT decrease sales, and INCREASES income.
The topic 'charging for DLC for BO or not' was probably the easiest decision they ever had to make /

Your first statement isn't true as it hasn't been confirmed.
Your second statement is false because not everyone bought it. In fact only around 1 in 10 bought the DLC's.
Your third statement defies logic. You can you know that it didn't decrease sales if it was never free in the first place. You have nothing to compare it with.
