VAC2 itself is built into Steam and not the games, liberation modifies steam to prevent VAC from loading and since it is now detected any games secured will end in you getting banned only if you have the games open, not just by running liberation

Yes, although if you still want to be safer close steam and open it again

Old news is old. It's never been undetectable. You would get banned from the beginning, even other VAC games.
