"#5C-DEV-IDGEN" pretty much means you have a "disallowed" adapter, like the microsoft loopback adapter that was used to unban some people. this is like "iwd_22" error. they expect to cover this "patch" as an error, but failed miserably. pretty fail imo.

I haven't been banned and I got this error aswell, if you read what they said in the other thread /rap then you would know that they made that error because people were spamming or something

This error is caused by a failure in XUID calculation, the message should say that you can copy the debug info with CTRL + C, The advise is to post it into this topic

NTAuthority is working on fixing this, In the meanwhile please don't make any extra threads about this issue they only cause clutter.

They still fail on patching a unban method.

But I really don't care black ops is commiong soon.

Plus that copy and paste thing is that they are trying to gte information on computers hardaware to make another Ban system.

It's not a 'fail' at all. The thing is that the old code generated a fallback ID in way too many cases, and it's hard to find out who got those and who didn't. In fact, anyone who gets this error now has with 100% certainty had a fallback ID in previous versions. Even more so, it does NOT mean you have a 'disallowed adapter' -- these same checks were in previous versions leading back to August.

Also, the only reason for the debug info is to find out what needs to be fixed for those cases -- in this case it seems many people use USB devices.

Yes im banned but before NT fucked up AlterIWnet I could still play while being banned. This is obviously possible again now ,but the error prevents this that error isn't cause im banned. People who aren't banned are having this too.
