I'm using internet download manager, i download from good sources at 2 megs a second

i dont understand why my download rate seems to peak at 200 kbs =\ its really getting on my nerves. ive got 56k modem, why am i not downloading at 1mb+ per sec?

on speedtest i get 1700kbs per sec but never when it matters

i dont use any download mannager i avrage 800~1.5m/s

a 56k modem isn't fast, its used for dial up, so in no way can you get downloads speeds even close to 100kb/s

I get shitty download speeds too, i have no idea why; it pisses me off.

56k is for dialup? why does it only have ethernet ports then?
