ATI's cards are actually a bit more expensive than nvidia's. Thats as cheap as I could go, you can look for intel mobos and try getting older intel chips but the intel chips usually end up being around the same price or even more expensive than that 965 or you can look for slower ram because the one i loaded was 1600 mhz.

ill do nvidia.. i think the prices will be cheaper on most things at newegg. am i right?

my new total on newegg with HD was 609.95$ i downgraded the processer to 3.2ghz and saved alot. its was at 3.4ghz one.

Nvidia's cards handle dx11 much better. I could SLI a coupe of 470's for the same price as a 5970 and get like 2x the dx11 performance.
