C -> C++ (If you learn C++ you are learning C)

C# -> OOP with the same syntax as C++ with a useful framework called .NET..

Not sure whats so hard about it...

C with namespaces, function overloading, classes and VLA's. The only good features in C++

I always recommend learning C, mastering C, then learning C++

When you learn C++, you basically learn C without knowing. Because C++ is just an improvement of C, the syntax is identical. Of course, you don't learn the C stdio, but the C++ iostream
