    Few Questions About KeyLogging

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Just recently I had an issue with someone Hacking my account, and I was wondering exactly how a KeyLogger works. I think that is how they got into my stuff but I'm not sure Can it be run remotely from one computer to another? Basically, how does it work? Does the person that is running the KeyLogger have to have access to the computer that they are KeyLogging? Those are just a few questions that I have. I am just looking to better understand how that whole KeyLogging thing works and exactly what it is. Any help is better than none. Thanks

You have a program that is recording what you type and then it sends that to the person that gave you the keylogger.

So could I have gotten it even if the person wasn't on my computer?

Try downloading virus scanners/malware scanners, they should detect the virus for you and then delete it.

I would prefer AVG or Avast, both are free and secure.

You should turn your internet off therefore stopping keystrokes from being sent via internet.

MalwareBytes is a good antivirus. I think the keylogger couldve had some other things attached though... Do a thorough scan. Usually, since I dont keep much on my PC, I just do a system restore.

3 years ago, I was hacking/playing Combat Arms thinking it was the best FPS ever made. Now, I own Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2 and Quantum of Solace. Every time I play COD, it all comes down to skill from Combat Arms.

    Sure... Thats what i meant

And when I play Combat Arms now, I play better because the other games have taught me to watch for campers
