Doctor: “Its terminal....”

My life flashes right before my eyes
This isn’t another lie
My breathing slows
There aint no more flow
There isn’t anything we can do

Make my way back home
What do I say?
Im sorry honey daddys going away?
God damn these words break bones
And these bones cannot heal
Not from the pain and sorrow of this whole ordeal
But this shit isn't another story, this shit is real
What the hell am I supposed to feel?

All I can say is to live life to the fullest
I know this shit sounds like some cliché
But you never know if its your day
I guess you can only pray
I only wish I could stay

Its time to think
Stop being selfish
Cause time ticks away, Im on the brink
But I cant think of bills, when Im busy writing my will
But there is so little I leave behind
How can I leave them chomping at the rind?
Scrapping for anything they can find

Is this the life I imagined?
How did it come to this?
I just cant even fathom
If it wasn't for my anger and fists
Maybe I wouldn't be locked up, let my life slip away
