Banned?

ok so i tried to get on BO today and found out i got banned for no reason at all. I was thinking of using catalyst but didn't want to risk being banned. The only thing i can think of is i joined a prestige server, but i didn't get any xp or anything because the server owner shut off the extreme xp a few rounds before i joined.

Any ideas on why i got banned or if i'd be able to reverse this somehow?

it was a legit copy i preorderedl ike a day before for $60
i was a level 8 1st prestige, no hacks or mods at all.
only thing i did was basically join a fake prestige game

Post to steam support. BTW have you used a sp trainer or cheat engine when playing?

And did you activate Black Ops on the same Steam account as Modern Warfare 2? :/

no it was on a different account. Dam maybe i do still have hacks somewhere on my pc. going to check now

first off vac bans you, if there is something wrong, you can get banned for a few thing thing, but not nothing, so, what did you do. lying about to, to make yourself feel better is funny, and retarded, because we know, you DID something. so, if you want help, tell us what you did do. there is a debate going on if hacking in sp will ban you on mp too. but its all theory. so, tell us what you did, and if you post again saying you didnt do anything, just fucking leave and dont come back, because your then lying. unless a shit ton of people start saying they just got banned for nothing, like in mw2(who got ld42 for free). but i highly doubt they would do that mistake twice. steam is a very big money maker. they dont mess up very often anymore

lol just to get my 2 cents in here, VAC DOES FALSELY BAN!! i have 3 falsely banned accounts that were 100% legit, n then steam claims i did sumthing, yet the accs that got banned, were created the day i got a legit ban, had restarted my comp. n removed hacks n everything, n they still banned me 3 times falsely, n i never got a copy of l4d2 free... they just kept my banned accounts n took my money

so dont just go off on sumone sayin *I KNOW U DID SUMTHIN SO JUST TELL US WHAT U DID* cuz u urself must not have had falsely banned accounts, therefor u dont believe in it, BUT IT DOES HAPPEN

Some people have. Liberation likes to mess with other games besides MW2. So people that use Liberation tend to get banned from other games. And VAC did have that wave of bans that banned a ton of people that didnt do anything. VAC is not perfect.

Sux to be banned so early but you must have done something to trigger the ban.
or else treyarch did as IW did banned alot of inosent people.
