Reply With QuoteLol in the beginner programming class at my school it is qbasic and visual basic 6.0. Then they also teach basic html and c++ as the higher computer programming. I go to a small school so they expect only a small percent of students to be able to even understand how programming works. Let alone even take the class.

Yeah that is strange they teach VB6 since Microsoft does not support it anymore and has became obsolete in the programming industry, The only reason its still in existent is because programmer enthusiast's have labeled this as an easy to learn language... They should atleast be teaching you vb.net to keep up with whats being used in the real world.
