HackShield/Report Secret Reporting System? Or is it rubbish?

It detects found hacks from previous stages of the game and abruptly shuts down the game on the hacker , it is also known to silently report players via log to Nexon. It is unknown if the shield would work on hacks that weren't blocked by Nexon, that is, if it would report it to Nexon even though it wasn't discovered yet.
HackShield changed its loading screen during the early months of 2009. Instead of showing its trademark "Shield", it now randomly generates one of the second-generation Combat Arms wallpapers that can be obtained on the official Nexon website for Combat Arms."

-Ive heard a rumor, as soon as you get reported, Combat Arms takes an instant screen shot of you screen. And sends it to Nexon America.
Nexon then looks at it and takes action? Because I've been crashed probably 21000000 times attempting out dated hacks. And it's all gewd

It probably does send nexon a redflag when you crash, but I wouldn't worry on it so much. Most of the time, they need strong visual evidence of you botting before they permanently ban you.

Good point Animal. But what happens if it crashes, while it sees your hacking menu? Like, nearly every hack has some sort of menu. Nexon will easily see its a 3rd party cheese cake.

As far as the reporting and taking a screenshot rumor goes, I kinda highly doubt that. For them to take a screenshot of what you see on your screen, they would have to have remote access to our computer. And if that was the case, there would probably be a larger amount of players banned/suspended. That's just my logic though, I may be wrong. Anything is possible in this day and age of technology.

It sends nexon a .dump file when the game crashes but i dont think it uploads a picture but who knows / , they can usually check the .dump file to see what caused the game to shutdown. usually it points to a hack file
