    Exclamation Monitor Help

Hi i really dont know what section to put this in, im still new to the forums, so sorry in advance if its wrong place, but im having a really annoying problem with my LCD 15" Monitor. When i start up my computer my monitor will just turn on for about 2 seconds and then go black, but in the light i have been able to barley make it out as though the monitor were ON but just almost completly blackened out. And i have to keep turning the monitor off and on for like 3 minutes before it finally stays on, does anyone know what the problem could be ? Would greatly appreciate all help

Are there any buttons or anything on the monitor to change brightness or edit settings or anything?

Ye there are, but i have tried doing that, it still does it. It goes almost to the point of it being dark, its only with light that i can barely make out the screen.

Try resetting the settings or have it checked. Alternatively use another monitor to see if it's maybe the gfx card / pc that's the problem.

There must be an option in your monitor's settings to reset to factory defaults or sRGB or something
