add a white one, i just tested and it will look VERY cool, it shines in the sun


PS: if i make a mod, the whole weapon is gonna change, the scope also, sometimes i want it like that, sometimes i don't. Any help?

I could have sworn I made a white one damnit derp get your shit together.

And when you make the mod just dont edit the parts you dont want changed. Its kinda hard to tell which part is what on the dds, but enough time of looking at the gun in game, you will start to understand better. Pasting pictures and stuff on guns usually is not the greatest way to go about it. Sometimes it will cover certain parts up, and then looks distorted on the gun.

alright, exactly how do i get them in the game? i use the program and but the Desert map and the file in the "custom images file!? how do i do it manually???!

Not totaly sure if this should be working on ranked servers or not but I tried and it did until I changed weapons then it went back to the default skin.

There would be no reason for the game to just start switching out textures. I am assuming you are doing something wrong.

you could also create a private server... pull out your weapon...toss a grenade at your feet... when you respawn, find your body and weapon

thats how i did it in mw2

but make sure the grenade is further from the body but can still kill you....if you dont and do it closer then the gun will fall under the body and you wont get a good SS

Oh man that is the biggest pain in the ass ever. -.- It happens every now and then and its annoying. Also when you pick the gun up for ammo on accident, or in the case of BO, the guns disappear before they ever hit the ground :s

But yeah, I just got the gun, killed myself, and went back and took the SS.
