Check the past beetween the CPU and the fan Might be low.
Doesn't work does our ram have heatsinks on them?
I have a powerful comp. Maybe too powerful.
It will over heat when playing CA and BIOS will shut down the comp.
But i can play black ops for hours and have no problems...
Things i have tried:
Speed fan (useless, crappy software that does nothing)
Stacked an extra fan on top my fan for my CPU.
Leave case open
added a case fan
Keep heat sinks clean with air duster.
Any thing else i can try?
It takes about 30 mins before it over heats so its not a huge deal but still i cant be good for it.
When you first start the comp you can hear the fans running really fast and then after a few second it sound like they are about half speed.. it there a way i can hard wire my fans to full pwer from the power supply or something?
I have
[4x]2.5GHZ QUADCORE ..... 4 x 2.5 = 10GHZ FTW??
8GB ram
Nvidia GT220 with 4 GB of video ram.
Amercian megatrends BIOS

happend to me to, how i fxed was i bought a cheap 15 dollar spray can, AIR compressed can, and CARfully spray ur laptop/desktop fan. Make sure you hold down the fan with a needle while you spray it or else the fan will spin to fast causing it to break, i did that to my comp and it got rid of so much dust and made every thing work again ^_^
Do you have a laptop or desktop?
Liquid cooling system ftw!
Tried turning off auto fan.
i have found ur solution.oil/water cool ur system!!How to Watercool a PC
