Wait, I dont see any images up there. And if you are having the problem I think you are, then its a helluva lot easier than reinstalling. Try redoing the picture link?

Ah yup. Just like I thought.

Go into your config_mp, and find the line

seta compassize "0"

It should be 0 because you have no radar. Just change it back to "1" and save it. Problem solved. Another solution would be to delete the config entirely, and let the game write its own, but you have to redo all your settings.

The numbers indicate the scaling of the radar. Like 1=100% 2 would be 200% and so on. Some hacked lobbies and such will either set it to 0 to make it invisible, and others will set it to something like 9 so it takes up your whole screen and makes it impossible to see.

Pretty much yeah. I used to set mine to like 1.5 so that it would be a little bigger and I could pinpoint people faster, but I eventually got tired of it taking up my screen and went back to using really small radar icons.
