I apologize for my spit of rage, i had an arguement with my girlfriend a few minutes before that, when im pissed i get offended by nearly anything.

That "achmed the dead terrorist" is one of the most stereotypical thing to be shown on TV. The man stopped making comedy about it, because of threats which i think he deserved.

For this being in the debate section, I don't see any actual debate or reasoning. Just childish ignorance really. Yes, religion is a serious subject, its peoples beliefs, but there is nothing wrong with a light sense of humor (Im sure God would get it). Terrorists are basically a warp in time. There what every other religion acted like back in medieval times. Spanish Inquisition anyone? The Crusades? So it goes to show in the hands of man, religion is destructive...but also uplifting, and hopeful. As for a higher power, I believe there is. Do human beings carry themselves in the way they should? no. People use the death and destruction of so many things or the absence of presence for the reason behind it. I myself have had my doubts, but if there is a better place, whoever dies shouldn't phase anyone, there either in the better place they belong, or the bad place they belong, or just going back through the cycle till they get it right somewhat. The question I would always get stuck on is well if there is a God, then where is it? I do not see it. But then I think, well man can be a really dumb or very smart person, but mostly dumb. If God just appeared, proved for a fact he was God, and even held press conferences to show the world who he is, and proof of heaven. Well, even really dumb sinner would realize...oh shit, I need to get my stuff straight. Well, then that ruins the whole point of Good. You can't do right and good for the sake of gaining something out of it. In the face of all evil and tragedy, just to do the right thing without thinking of yourself while not even caring if your wrong or right in an afterlife, I believe is the path to where ever the right road is.
