login to Project blackout and
1. run winhe*
2. open RAM
3. open physical memory
4. scan in text mode, use F3 button to scan next
5. look hex value of the map
6. change hex value
7. press F2 button to put analyze memory.
8. go back to game and enjoy

Yea, I got this as well...My brother just found a way to get around that error on Win7 64 bit.

As for that tutorial, it's something I like to call the map overlay glitch. I did it just by renaming the maps in another game.
