Greatest Prophet

Its come to my attention that Muhammed is considered the "greatest prophet" to muslims.

Which aroused my suspicion of why?

Muhammed really didn't do anything in terms of miracles. He made other people submit to his religion after conquering him with his army(gathered through Islam), and He really didn't have any of the presence of any of the prophet before him.

So I asked mr. muslim, and he said "because the quran said so."


And then i wondered to myself, do they really think muhammed is the greatest prophet just because "the quran said so"?

I mean he wrote the quran more or less, and then it says he is the "greates prophet", do people really believe that?

The reason why he is so popular, because he created something that united the Mecca tribes. He wasn't just a general, but then again.. Christians did the same thing as the Muslims did. It was how it was back in the days, you know?

He was/is famous because he was the last line of Islamic prophets. Adam being the first and him being the last. He was famous because of his ways, he was a diplomat, a leader, a general, a shepard, etc. But pretty much he is famous for creating Islam, Islam united the people of the Middle East. Before Islam was created, there wasn't countries or anything.. it was just tribes and when created Islam, it removed the tribes.

They don't view him as the greatest, they view him as very honorable and with high respect because he was the last known prophet to exist. I'm not the one defending Islam or Mohammed. But, I figured I would clear things up before some moron does, you know?

The problem with Islam is that people can trick Muslims into doing things their religion doesn't do!Like it happened so many times.That's mostly because the majority of muslims doesn't get a proper education,or doesn't learn to think if they actually get an education...this happens everywhere now anyway

Muhammed isn't the greatest prophet, he was the last, hes loved because he was the chosen one, the last one, and the one handed the last revelation's to.

*Say ye: "We believe in God, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to God." Quran 2:136



The Noble Qur'an 2:285
The Messenger (Muhammad ) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers. Each one believes in Allâh, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."

Also wondering, how come he was the last/???

I mean christianity/Judaism ends with whoever, and like around.....500 to 1000 years later, another prophet comes up.

How is Jesus supposed to come after the quran? In what way would that work in Islam?

I don't think he is because there is something in there quran that sais:
"لا نفرق بين أحد من رسله"(Thank u google)
which means :We Do not differentiate between one of the messengers.
