I've strolled Gumdrop Lane before, I never wish to go back.

Arguing with believers is like trying to prove that my pet unicorn in a distant star system eats jam every morning before he does backflips.

I want one of you to answer me, why do you think god exists?

It's been asked a thousand times and the more rational ones have always answered "believing in God requires a leap of faith". I respect that, but I personally can't manage that leap of faith; I'm staying indifferent to what has not been proved and I'm accepting what has.

And thats why these arguments are pointless.

The religious believers use facts, when their religion is built on faith.

Don't bother, nobody wins. You guise just try making eachother look stupid.

I'm atheist and believe in evolution, but seriously. nobody wins. stfu plox.

I'm in between of Religion and Science
I don't go to mass weekly, nor do I care so much about Science.
What I believe, is that Science and Religion are linked, but mis-interpreted.
Angels and Gods could just be us time travelling to the past, or a species out of this galaxy or even in this galaxy.
That's all i have to say.

Well at least you have an imagination...

but why do we all have to assume that there is something supernatural?

Can we not just settle for the fact that the situation we are in might just be normal?

Congratulations, you can quote 400 year old theories.

You forget that it was unknown at this point that an oxygen rich environment made it impossible for early life to form. As such, our environment now would be no pre-cursor to the past.

The chemical composition of the earliest rocks we have show that the atmosphere was neutral. Geological evidence also shows that the atmosphere remained neutral until about two-billion years ago. At this milestone, life had been thriving for 1.8 billion years, and as large populations of small organisms because to photosynthesize, they produced free oxygen, making a biosphere ripe for the development of multicellular forms.

And the most important fact you forget is that this is a theory. And theories can be changed.

All also find it quite funny that 1/3 of your "thanks" have been from Hassan and other theists who thank you because they think you are "proving all the retards wrong", because if it weren't for you they couldn't last much longer in their self pity and ignorance.

im always intrigued by these types of topics, to bad people always gotta write stupid crap not even related to the subject,

no i do not believe in evolution, i believe that god created everything, by everything i mean EVERYTHING, even existance and time itself. just because we cannot create it doesnt mean that its not possible, i mean we cant fly, but hey birds can.

everyone has their own opinion on such a topic, shit happened billions of years ago, but what caused it all is the true question is it not, who really cares if there was a huge explosion, what the hell caused it, and then if you could answer such a question, then what would cause the answer to the question.

some people cant except god, they have their own reasons why, some like to think they are the all powerful, that they are god, thats actually called satanism i think (correct me if im wrong, but do remember there are many forms of satanism). some just arnt spiritual enough, some wouldnt want to take a leap of faith, fair enough, why risk your life and soul.
