My frst sig EVER

I have decided to start trying out photoshop CS5!

I looked at a few tutorials, and came up with this.



Please tell me what you think, and also what I could improve on.

looks shit

I said it's my first sig ever.

"looks shit" is not what I was looking for.

if it looks shit, what could I improve on?

Art is a very powerful thing. It represents deep emotional feelings that many people can not express in any other way. Even small changes in art, the slightest brush stroke, the smallest amount of blur can add unimaginable amounts of character to your art. Art comes from the soul, and is as personal as a diary. Asking for "how something should look" defeats the purpose of art.

Render looks squished.

Remember to hold shift when using the transform tool.
This will keep proper dimensions.

Either that or do edit>image size
Then enter the dimensions you want

ok well the colors need some more to it you can work on your text as the others have said i recommend not using a text for now until you get better with making sigs as ethereal said your render does look squished but overall for a first its pretty good
