    Lightbulb LAGG REDUCTION TOOLS

Alright. Now, the TuneUp utilities 2010, does work, but lets be honest... Does it really help? No, it does not. It has a registry defragger (very bad) and is part of a scam. If you really want to make your computer faster, use a program called AUS Logics Disk Defrag, in order to make it go FASTER than it was when you first got it. This program I trust with my life! It works BEST on laptops, and great on Desktops and such. This even makes HP's go faster. Run this on Defrag and Optimize until you have a CONSISTENT time!

Then next is a tip. Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape, and end ALL UNNEEDED processes. ANYTHING like MSN Messenger, skype, opera, and stuff like that, are all un-needed. WHEN you are JUST about to start the game you are wanting to play, end the process "explorer.exe".
    This next part is IMPORTANT!!
When you are done your game, make SURE to press the same buttons, and then press file-> run, then type "explorer"!!!

Go to your system start up options in the control panel (or the "Startup" folder in your start menu) and make sure to turn off programs that are not needed to start up, when booting your computer. WHEN getting rid of MSN messenger in the start up, you need to go into the actual program, and same with frostwire!

These "tools" will help you make your computer fast, and remove lagg. Stay true to these, and they will always help you!

How can you compare a registry cleaner to a defragger, you on crack? TuneUp Utilities 2011 is already out. The Startup folder does not contain all startup entries which is why TuneUp Startup Manager is included and TuneUp Program Disabler in 2011 edition. Anwyay, TuneUp already comes with a defragger.

Yes, one that is inefficient, slow, and doesn't work very well. Tuneup utilities is a program that needs a few features to be turned off, and then just leave it be. It gets rid of the stuff that should be gone. It is not the best, and I apologize, but I ran that program, and the computer I used it on? Didn't work for 3 hours. So don't flame the shit outta me because I know what I am talking about

Well atleast be specific. TuneUp Utilities is an AIO while AUS Logics Disk Defrag is just a defrag util.

It's like saying a normal calculator is better than a scientific calculator.

    1. i already delete all my proceses..old is old.
    2. download "CCleaner" Download CCleaner 3.02.1343 - FileHippo.com
    3. this gives you the option to clean everything, from process that boot from when you start your pc to when you want to delete those processes from appearing permanently.

    this is smarter
    go to run
type msconfig than go to start up tab
than you can close all unnecessary programs
    works a lot better
I love it when people keep their agreements /sarcasm ftw

I've actually been using TuneUp Utilities since 2004. And I trust my computer's life to it. And the 2011 version is virtually idiot proof. All the tools provided within it are pretty advanced. With the exception of the registry defrag. I will agree that it is pointless.

My proof is my PC was built in 2004. I've only had 1 blue screen of death do to hardware failure. The end.

    Registry cleaning useless? Oh boy.

Honestly, none of these 'fixes' are going to have a real impact on performance in game. They may help certain things a little, but if you computer is honestly bogged down that much, then you should probably get in the habit of just throwing your hard drive away every year or two.

I do a full system virus scan, and then I check if my HDD needs defragging, and then I run Ccleaner after all that. I do this once a week, and the only other program I have is CCleaner. (I use the auslogistics, but I dont need to)

im using TuneUp & Ccleaner, but tuneup has a lot of background programs running al day long to keep your PC "optimized" in fact, theyre runnning a BIG proces to Kill al the unneeded Processes (in Turbo Mode), so it will stay the same if you have like 5-10 processes on, it will reduce speed if you have 1-5 processes on, and it will gain speed if you have 10+ processes on, so b4 gaming i ALWAYS close Tunup

I had Tune Up 2011 and it stopped 2 programs from starting at boot up which has made boot up so much faster, after about 5 seconds of being on my desktop i can start using chrome, BUT for some reason when i typed it used to lag and i removed Tune Up and my lag when i type has gone...

More proof, and registry shit, will fuck your computer up... I let Tuneup run the redundant files, and broken shortcut thing run once a week :P It runs in the background, and I am on a NETBOOK (Acer Aspire D250) with Windows 7 Ultimate, and it runs faster than a LAPTOP that is not only NEWER, but has better specs...
