I just want to add a few things;

- If you're willing to restart SOTW, I think you should restart AOTW as well. With consistent leadership and someone with experience (yourself) I don't see why it wouldn't work. Like stated before it could be just a "small thing for now". Something to envelope all sections of "Art".

I.E Written arts then to Digital Arts, Ect...

- For SOTW I'm kind of agreeing that premades shouldn't be allowed. A large part of these competitions for me personally is not "winning" but challenging myself to produce something for a topic I might love or not necessarily like. It engages someone as an artist and I love that. But of course I understand that it might reduce participation.


Overall, i'm really glad to see you assume this role and ask for feedback, It's good to take an initiative.

i guess AOTW wasnt that bad only problem was that no-one else besides the Graphics section used it. so a revert to SOTW was possible... or am i wrong?

I think pre-mades should be fine. Right now i see this as a friendly competition between any one who enters. There's no reward or anything so if you lost it doesn't really matter.

Well there is no VIP until Dave decides to get some.

If there is no reward then I don't see why collabs wouldn't be allowed. As long as both are registered and active members on MPGH it should be fine

Exactly my point. Of course I encourage people to make new stuff, but a lot of people make pieces which fit into future themes and forced to recreate "creativity" so to speak. I've not entered many SOTW's because of this exact reason.

I assure you if SOTW takes on momentum then I'll start enforcing some tighter rules but for now, this is just a friendly match.

As for AOTW I could do that as well, but I'd need other people to help run those, who have knowledge in each field).
