    Photoshop help

    i was wondering on how i would go about taking black out of a picture and replacing it with transparancy.... magic wand does it to drasticly and uncleanly, is there anouther way? like with a colour filter?

    you want to make the picture turn transparent?
    image>adjustments and then whatever you want
    or change the opacity
    and if you are trying to make it into the background, put the layer under the main layer you want to stand out

    you didnt understand....
    i want to remove the black in this picture without changing the heart
    i think ive got it.... im excluding the image over a white background.......
    arr.... that doesnt help..... nowim stuck with a white background.....grrr

    ??tralala set color. get into channels, press cntrl+any channel, back in the layers and press cntrl+del on new layer with white background.
