hmmm... it's ok, personally i prefer brushes.

there is a point when you will not need brushes for a background, rather only use them for effects....you must learn these techniques Enigma

personally i would not have used the C4D the same way...i would have taken teh render, duplicated and blurred them all then set to C4D to color dodge and possible smudge it to even out teh color.....thats another tihng, you need more color@!
