Due to XUID crumbling as a reliable occlusion method, I hereby decree the following:

Cheat reports are closed. -- To all server administrators, update your servers to 0.3 and have administrators online.

The Anti-Cheat Team is disbanded. All members report to me for reassignment.

These are indeed hard times for alterIW, I would ask our community to find patience in their heart and let us do what we do best. To any cheaters reading this, go on. Cheat. Fuck it all up for no reason, other than to stroke your ego.

ETA on alterOps and alterIWnet-rewritten is still unknown, but we're making progress.

I don't see how kids can look at a project like alterIW and say "Haha someone managed to bypass your old ban method, fucking failing noobs"..

Since all of alterIWs achievements won't count for anything if they temporarily pause it, why would you care at all? Like wow.. aIW failed because they had to update. They are so nooby that they didn't make everything perfect in the first release..


Here I say it so you can copy it to your signature or whatever gets you off, 'hackers won because now alterIW have to make a patch'.. happy?

AlterIW did NOT fail.

...but i still dont understand why the cheat report team was disbanded and the reports were locked. My assumption may be wrong, but doesn't this mean that for the past few (?) weeks cheaters have been in their golden-age cheating freely without getting a single ban? If thats the case then that sucks.

on a side note, people need to learn to appreciate alterIW.
