i got an 80 gb ipod years ago

its screen melted off
they didn't return it those bastards :@

i am tryna use it for storage i cant see the battery connections is ripped away
so i need help the drive is still in it i opened it up took out screen and all
i connect it to my pc using a USB nothing has comes up

It's not going to work unless the battery connection is re-soldered back on. Charge up your battery. Disconnect your battery before you solder it, if you can. Then it should work fine. Assuming no internal damage to the chip has taken place.
